Nadja Dias, producer


Nadja is a producer and performing arts manager with over ten years experience in producing & tour booking, general management, marketing, project management & budgeting, contract negotiation, strategic & business planning.

Following on from her Theatre and Cultural Studies (MA) at the University Leipzig, Germany she relocated to the UK to study Theatre, Arts and Entertainment Management at LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts). Throughout her studies she worked as freelance producer and arts manager for cultural organisations, such as Savage God (Vancouver) and Lighthouse Liverpool as well as for commercial clients such as radio stations and event agencies.

Combining her event management, marketing and producing expertise for commercial companies such as AEI Media/ Drum & Bass Arena and Flytxt with experience in marketing and management for arts organisations such as Liverpool Biennial and Candoco Dance Company Nadja has specialised in management and producing for contemporary performance/ dance artists and organisations.

She currently works as Head of Touring and Marketing for Candoco Dance Company where she is working with the Artistic Directors on developing and producing touring repertory, leading on all international and national touring and tour booking, contract negotiations as well as overseeing all marketing & communications activities.

She has extensive experience in partnership work and a keen interest in utilising new technologies and digital communication tools to develop audiences for contemporary dance and performance. Alongside her work for Candoco Dance Company Nadja is a board member of dance agency DanceDigital, works as freelance producer for Bottlefed and artist Nigel Charnock on his new production ‘Ten Men’.

Nadja has worked with Bottlefed in a freelance capacity for over 5 years and supports the company’s development across a number of exciting projects and commissions nationally and internationally.
